Leadership

Josh is a native of Thomasville and the Hasty Community who graduated from Ledford High School. After high school he attended UNC-Chapel Hill and later earned his M.A. in Ministry from Carolina Graduate School of Divinity, where he graduated summa cum laude.  Pastor Josh has a heart for people and God’s Word, loving people where they are and encouraging them to grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In addition to ministry Josh loves spending time with his wife Erin and four children: Charleigh, Grady, Kennedy, & Crosby. They enjoy traveling, especially to the U.S. National Parks, where they have made many lifelong memories together. Josh is a big sports fan who loves playing and listening to music, often ministering through music with Parker Webb & Guilford.

Pastor Josh has been at Zion since September of 2022 when he began serving as the interim pastor. Eight months later, in May of 2023, he received the call to shepherd Zion and the interim status was removed.

Larry is also a native of the Hasty Community who went on to get his B.A. in Sacred Music at Southern Wesleyan University and a Master's of Music in Organ from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to being a great musician, Larry contributes to the Zion congregation as the church secretary and as a very friendly part of our church family. 
Larry has served at Zion since November of 2024.
